    Abstract

    We study how market imperfections distort the usual productivity growth using Indian disaggregated level of industrial data during 1998-2005. A modified approach, which has dealt with the imperfections and simultaneity problem of factor choice, accounts for a lower productivity growth than the usual estimate.
