    Abstract

This paper examines the potential that multicultural education provides for Pacific education systems to enhance the learning experiences of children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Developing on the idea of culture-sensitive/culture-inclusive curriculum, a staggered systematic approach for learning to learn in diversity and learning to live together is introduced.
