    Abstract

Mesh generation is one of key issues in Computational Fluid Dynamics. This paper presents the details of the implementation of an adaptive two-dimensional mesh refinement method based on the law of mass conservation. The method can be used to a governing system that includes the law of mass conservation (continuity equation) for incompressible or compressible steady flows and produces refined meshes that involve the information of velocity fields. We have shown that the refined meshes can be used to draw accurate streamlines and identify the singular points and boundaries of the regions in which the streamlines stay inside if the seed points are in the regions. The implementation of the method into software may be useful in research and solving practical problems in two dimensions. We will look at various computer design issues for such systems which result in subdivision of the parent mesh into thousands of small course cells and their visualization. The structure of the structure will be shown first and then the easy-to-use interface. Some application examples will be shown at the end of the paper.
