Abstract

Deep Sea Mining (DSM) in the Pacific - A comparative law approach. The objective of this presentation is to draw the attention of Pacific States on the need to harmonise their DSM regulations so create a healthy completion between state to attract DSM entrepreneur and to avoid competition by lack of regulation, which could have disastrous impact on the relevant maritime environment.
