Abstract
The main aim of this study is to examine the ineffectiveness of the financial inclusion policies in meeting the demand for domestic credit from the private sector in Fiji. It outlines that the current policy prescriptions stipulated under the National Financial Inclusion Strategic Plan 2016-2020 are not cohesive enough to meet the domestic demand of credit from the private sector. This study also proposes some policies that can help to enhance the current policies on financial inclusion in Fiji.
