Abstract

Journalist Ravai Vafo'ou accompanies a group of USP Geography students to Levuka in a bid to investigate the impacts of Colonialism and the legacies left behind by the early European settlers.

The film explores the significant role played by the old capital in building Fiji. It also shares the various experiences of the students who attempt to discover the history behind one of Fiji's greatest treasures.

Scientific advice for the journey into the (his)story of Old Levuka is provided by Dr Eberhard Weber, USP.
