Additional Information: "Re-imagining Oceania : Place, Space and the in-between", is an exhibition of Pacific Contemporary Art. The exhibition provides a platform for artists to examine their sense of place within their locality and in the wider region. It presents an insight into the way that artists view the place of their art as well as themselves in the contemporary climate of the region. “Re-imagining Oceania” allows the artist not only to create works of beauty but also to share what it means to be a 21st Century Pacific artist. The cohort of artists on show includes a group of Fiji-based artists comprising members of RedWave, and VASU Pacific Women of Power as well as established and emerging new talent.
