"This paper accentuates the usefulness and resourcefulness of total quality management [TQM] in enhancing employee efficiency, productivity and performance in diverse labour markets. TQM stands for a management philosophy and the purpose of TQM practices is to advance the performance of an organization. All this can occur if there is appropriate interaction and participation of employees in an organization. In assessing the efficacious nature of TQM for human resource issues, this paper explores the intricacies of employee involvement, teamwork, quality circles (QCs), and the Fiji Business Excellence Award."
