Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have been identified as keys to trade facilitation. As the main tasks of tradefacilitation are to minimize the transaction costs, increase transaction speed and reduce the complexity of international trade, effective electronic and automated trade systems can greatly contribute to these tasks while making the trade regulatory system more transparent and predictable.
