Journal of Pacific Studies

Well, common sense suggests that Pacific studies based in and informed by the  experience of the Pacific Region have to be ‘on the ball’ in a way that library  and archival work in foreign climes may not be. There is plenty of room for all  performers, of course, but JPacS is dedicated to making sure that the voices of  the Pacific are prominent in the chorus of Pacific Scholars

Further more, JPacS has a breadth unmatched in any other single publication  devoted to Pacific studies. It base in SSED assures a diversity of interests and focuses. The concern covers a range of disciplines, across past, present and future, irrespective of age, seniority, gender or ethnicity. Everybody can find  something of relevance in JPacS: the only precondition is an interest in the Pacific, its trials and triumphs
