Abstract
Discusses the initiatives taken by USP to convert the Bachelor of Education (primary) to distance mode. The initiative is timely, as the Pacific region needs better-qualified primary teachers who will in turn contribute positively toward improving the quality of education at the primary level and it will result in teacher initiated change in their own practices and systems.
